Hey-oooo!

It’s been a while hasn’t it? We’ll have to remedy that. Julie and I were just talking about some potentially very exciting things coming for Twenty Pieces, and then both said to each other, “guess we should blog then, huh?”

Anyway, I really hate politics (this is related, just give me a sec). Well that’s not true. I love political theory and ideology, I just hate the way it’s being played out right now in our country. Particularly the kind of pseudo-politics that happen at conventions, where everyone preaches to their own choirs about things they probably won’t ever accomplish.

But I think one thing we can all agree on is that Michelle Obama is a stone cold fox. A classy fox at that, and a fantastic example of the right kind of wardrobe: good quality pieces that are classic, fit her like a glove, and are reusable. Julie’s written about her before, but I couldn’t resist highlighting her look from last night. Because it was awesome.

She glows, and she’s wearing Tracy Reese and JCrew, both accessible, though not cheap, brands. I hereby crown her the First Lady of Twenty Pieces
